Job Title: Offshore Wind Farm Environmental Health and Safety OfficerCountry: JapanDuration: 6 MonthsEmployment Type: ContractWe support projects across Europe, Asia and USA working with OEMs, EPCs & Sub-Contractors, Service Organisations, & Utility companies.Summary.The QSE Officer reports directly to the Site Manager (or highest hierarchy working on site) on the construction project and dotted lineThe officer should be able to spend at least 75% of his time supervising the activities out in the field (as example WTG pads, substation, transmission line, etc).In particular the QSE officer has to supervise any high-risk activities that are executedJob Description.Conduct on a weekly basis at least one Audit inspection report including corrective/preventive measuresAttend the regular follow up meeting with Vestas QSE department (frequency to be specified based on project needs)Liaise with site HSE Officers of the subcontractors and customersSupport construction site management in managing incidents following Incident management process (Process SUS-IEM-IMA)Support construction site management in assembling the "as built documentation" packageMandatory training requirements.Safety Introduction for Technicians (SIT)GWO Basic Safety Training standard or equivalent if GWO not available in the country (equivalent training to be reviewed and approved by local QSE)GWO Basic Technical Training standard, Installation D-level or equivalent field trainingLOTO training program (Qualified level)Local legally required trainings
