They are seeking an experienced operational leader with a background in the electrical industry for an immediate start for permanent role within the business.

About the Role
As the Electrical Divisional Manager, your role will see you overseeing the daily activities of the Electrical division’s operations (team of 5). This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors, materials, quality assurance, cost control, and project management protocols to deliver projects according to plan.

Within this fast-paced role,  you will report directly in the business Operations Manager and be a part of a large tight-knit team within the business’ Head Office with key values such as respect and integrity. You will work closely with various teams across Sales, Estimating and Construction to ensure quality and accuracy across the electrical requirements of all projects on site. 

Your duties will include:
  • Managing and developing the electrical team including the training, growth & development plans, and consistently leading by example across best practice and company values
  • Working with the Executive Management team to report on the Electrical Division and develop a scalability strategy across the business
  • Project forecasting and the management of resourcing requirements, including tacking project schedules, profit and loss reporting and managing supplier invoicing and variations 
  • Implementation of divisional processes and procedures
  • Attending site and client meetings to consult surrounding electrical plans and requirements
  • Coordination of labour and materials ensuring supply and accurate costings 
  • Ensuring WHS site regulations are met and attending quarterly WHS meetings, including signing off on site-specific Compliance Certificates and Safe Work Method Statements
  
About You
For success within this role, my client is looking for;
  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma / Trade Certificate within the Electrical field
  • Construction White Card
  • Electrician Contractor Licence
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • Low Voltage Rescue and CPR Certificate
  • 2+ years experience within a similar position
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven experience across people management and the demonstrated ability to work within a team-based environment 
Remuneration & Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package upwards of  $120k+superannuation, experience dependent and negotiable for the right candidate.
