THE POSITION
Our highly valed Oil and Gas Client is currently seeking a Production Field Administrator on a 6-12 month contract, near Valleyview, Alberta. Working an 8/6 shift rotation in a camp setting and work from home rotation.
The Production Field Administrator will be working closely with the the clients Field Operations team, this role is integral to the success of the facility. This role will assist in all areas of production and general accounting duties in coordination with office administration functions.

The Production Field Administrator will be working closely with the the clients Field Operations team, this role is integral to the success of the facility. This role will assist in all areas of production and general accounting duties in coordination with office administration functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and update daily production volumes for the facility. Identify anomalies and implement changes as required.
- Liaison with the measurement group, control room and producers as needed.
- Involved in the EPAP Audit Process as it applies to this position.
- Perform daily confirmations required for gas scheduling -working under deadlines throughout the day.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain pipeline allocation accuracy during volumetric changes.
- Assist with processing of invoices.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders for accounts payable requests.
- Preparing monthly reports for tracking costs and schedule meetings to discuss results.
- Maintain list of active AFE’s and update costs.
- Assist with budget preparation and completion.
- Fleet Management supporting Plant employees and monthly costs.
- Play a lead role for the Client’s Operational Excellence program.
- Ordering supplies, forms and stationary.
- Assist in company organized events off or on site.
- Provide daily administrative support for the Management Team.
The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented with the following qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry, preferably in a gas processing facility
- Passion for customer service and the ability to collaborate as a team member
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting or Business is considered an asset
- Experience in production volume reporting and CSO experience is an asset.
- Maximo 7.6 and PGAS or field production software experience would be an asset
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables.
- Demonstrated skillfulness in all areas of communication
- Team focused with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize time sensitive deadlines.
