On behalf of a major oil and gas operator we are hiring a Senior Environmental Advisor - Reporting and Chemicals for a role based in Denmark.
Job dimension
This position is subject matter expert regarding Discharges and Chemical Disposal and serve as the guardian to protect the client license to operate.
Additionally, this position has mainly the role of achieving the following objectives:
- Ensure integration of the client external environmental commitments into the clients planning and strategy
- Support development and maintenance of fit-for-purpose programs and procedures that comply to the company rules
- Develop a strong environmental culture; design and direct programs to maintain the c role as responsible energy major
- Focal point for environmental performance monitoring and reporting, in compliance with both the regulatory and company requirements
- Manage preparation and submission of Discharge Permit application and coordinate the delivery of environmental approvals. As a member of the Environment team, it will also be necessary to assist peers with review and documentation of other procedures as deemed necessary. It will also be called upon to support wider HSE function activities as directed.
- Control, monitor and reporting of discharges to sea; Produced Water (PW), Oil in Water (OiW) and Spills - Monitor and report OiW and oil discharges against limit compliance with the clients discharge permit.
Requirements:
This will be residential position on a 6month+ contract.

Requirements:
- University Degree in a technical field, preferably master’s degree in Environment, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in production, chemicals management, or environmental management.
- Solid knowledge of Danish and EU environmental legislation.
- Experience in leading HSE audits, incident investigations and emergency response.
This will be residential position on a 6month+ contract.
