VP Engineering / Singapore

Whether it’s Health-Tech, Med-Tech or Biotech, there are few industries with a greater level of interest and investment than the healthcare sector.

The client is certainly leading the revolution in the internet / digital health space and they are looking for a VP Engineering to drive their growth forward.

Role:

• Lead, coach, manage and inspire a fantastic bunch of software engineers in their deliver of best in class software solutions for the healthcare sector.
• Be a great (people, process, project) manager.
• Be the ambassador for lean agile delivery.
• Advocate quality, scalability, resiliency, and interoperability across the team; and do so using state of the art technologies in a cloud native environment.
• Be the ambassador for lean agile delivery.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory and other business systems.
• Collected extensive software development and full stack engineering experience. Experience in database architecture set ups.
• Have experience with SalesForce (desired) & Java Spring framework (desired)
• Comfortable with structuring agile teams, including devops and QA

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience would be great.
• Collective experience of more than 5 years with building digital companies.
• Experience (ideally a few tours) hiring, leading and coaching high performing software development teams.
• AI and Machine Learning experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to understand product business environment and drivers.
