We are looking for Local candidates to work as Legal Deputy Manager for a well-known Technology company in Erbil.
Summary:
Develop plans and programs related to the development and supervision of legal affairs. Issuing instructions, circulars and legal decisions to achieve the approved plans and programs. Proposing the estimated budget for legal affairs, in coordination with the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:
- Examine the legal statements of the cases and give appropriate advice.
- Drafting contracts and agreements related to the company's work and providing legal advice on their implementation.
- Review the contracts concluded with the companies executing the company's projects and contractors, and check the penal conditions set in a way that serves the interests of the company and guarantees its rights.
- Informing the company of the latest developments and amendments to the applicable laws related to the company's work and the extent of their repercussions on the company.
- Coordination with the Human Resources Department regarding the policies and procedures followed in the company and the extent of their conformity with the provisions of the labor law in force in the region, and ensuring that none of them are violated.
- Reviewing employment contracts and looking into employee issues such as termination of contracts, compensation and others.
- Preparing the approved annual evaluation of the employees in accordance with the established dates with a statement of the necessary recommendations.
- Translating strategies, policies and objectives into long, medium and short-term plans and participating in their implementation in coordination with employees.
- Drafting the instructions issued by the company.
- Providing a database of legislations applied in work procedures.
- Supervising the preparation of periodic reports on the activities of the Legal Affairs Department and outstanding issues and submitting them to the Executive Director.
- Meeting periodically with employees to follow up the progress of business, study developments, take measures and make appropriate decisions.
- Carry out any other additional work assigned to him.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in legal affairs, and 3 years as a legal supervisor.
- Experience in writing, preparing and drafting contracts, agreements, judicial regulations and legal advice.
- Strong Microsoft Office competency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of the company's field of work.
- Must have leadership and supervision skills.
- Ability to represent the company and face any emergency.
- Knowledge of the regulations and all legislation in force in the region.
- Fluency in Kurdish, Arabic and English languages.
