Senior Energy Analyst / Edinburgh

We are working on behalf for one of the biggest developers in renewable energy developers in Europe. They have offices based all across Europe, this role the desired locations are Cork, Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland.

You will be:

• producing wind farm layout designs and high-quality pre-construction energy analysis estimates
• designing and managing site-specific measurement campaigns, including installation, overseeing data collection, and reporting of site measurements data from meteorological masts and LIDAR units
• liaising with turbine suppliers regarding turbine suitability and technology options, also providing input into technical aspects of turbine supply agreements

Requirements:

• have a degree-level qualification in atmospheric science, engineering, or related discipline
• are strongly analytical with attention to detail and ability to exercise engineering judgment, with aptitude for statistical analysis
• have proven professional experience designing and performing energy yield analysis, associated uncertainties, and site-specific wind conditions
