The role 
We are seeking a Track Design Engineer to strengthen the existing team. The primary focus will be to lead the generation of high-quality track designs, drawings and to mentor junior team members. You will be a key point of contact for clients and take pride in solving project issues. 

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar;
• 5-10 Years rail design experience;
• Experience in Bentley MicroStation, Bentley RailTrack or PowerRail sufficient to interrogate designs is advantageous;
• Ability to undertake project and technical analyses, and report on results;
• Experience in the effective technical supervision and development of less-experienced team members;
• Relevant experience in the consulting engineering environment, including proven ability to liaise with and advise clients on safe, cost-effective, and sustainable engineering solutions;
• Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines related to track design and including OH&S requirements for design; and
• Engineering Authority or equivalent for track design and checking
