HSE Coordinator / Australia

With projects across the Western regional areas of Victoria, and offices in Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo, this builder produce high quality commercial projects up to $50M and larger projects with top tier commercial builders in Melbourne as joint ventures. 

The HSE Coordinator will act in a roaving function based out of the Ballarat office and work across a number of sites across the region throughout the week. 

Responsibilities

• Achieve the highest Health, Safety and Environment standards possible 
• Provide leadership and continuous improvement on employee and subcontractor attitudes towards safety 
• Strive to eliminate injuries and incidents on the project through coaching, mentoring and developing a safety culture on the project. 
• Conduct tool boxes, high risk workshops and plan for high risk work 
• Report on all HSE to management 
• Client relations 
• Successfully implement the companies IMS, Project management plans and initiatives 

Your profile 

• 3+ years within an HSE  focused role within construction 
• Relevant tertiary qualifications 
• Experience within Health & safety highly regarded. 
• Enthusiastic and passionate about all things Environment, Health & Safety. 
• Able to coach, mentor and implement environmental processes on large scale projects
