Role SummaryThe primary purpose of this Wind Installation Lead will be responsibility for the first line supervision and direction of the teams assigned to you and to ensure the safe, timely and effective execution of the work activities. This Wind Installation Lead role reports to the Head of Site ManagementEssential responsibilities:On behalf of the site manager is responsible for a safe installation within the time frame and budget of the C&I contractMaintaining a good relationship with the C&I supplierFirst point of contact for C&I subcontractors, support with technical know-how and contributes in regard to wind installation work - e.g. ensures documentations and manual are updated and available for all stakeholdersEnsure work is performed in agreement with contract and client standardsCooperates with ConPM and logistic coordinator to ensure tools, materials and components are available in time for subcontractorsOptimises installation activities to ensure progress and cost-efficient executionResponsible for retrofits, snagging and findings gets done and finalisedResponsible for toolbox talks and daily planning according to weather forecast and work prioritizationPlan installation task and align between stakeholders onsite, Q&HSE, crane, civil, service, transport and installation team; plan and organise commissioning and test of turbine,Retrieve and organise documentation and reportsAllocates resources and equipment according to project plans.Manage transport and accommodation for technicians going on and off the siteCreate a professional and constructive communication and team culture within core team and with C&I suppliersLead by example" regarding all HSE standards, procedures and QA requirementsSupport the site manager and acts as deputyIs responsible for the quality at mechanical handover, while being support by the QA organisationQualifications/ Requirements:Fluent in EnglishTechnical high school diploma or equivalentAt least 5 years experience with installation and mechanical completion of wind turbine generatorsIntermediate computer skillsFlexibility in working hoursPositive attitude and approach to day to day dutiesDemonstrated initiative to increase efficiency in operationsDriver's licence requiredA strong commitment to ensure safety and safe working environment.
