Environment Scientist/Advisor

Reporting into the technical director for environment for projects across Australia your function will be to be providing a key role in the function of projects engineering and consulting into the Water, mining, major infrastructure, and construction sectors.

Behavioral Competencies:

• Experience and knowledge of environmental permitting on projects in Australia
• Experience performing environmental submissions on water/construction/mining projects
• Can follow direction and work autonomously to complete the tasks assigned.
• Effectively manages costs within team’s business area including participation financial analysis & cost benefit assessments.
• Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & mentoring to junior staff.
• Able to mentor and manage graduate environment advisors/engineers

Technical Capabilities:

• Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Chemistry or related field.
• 3 + years' experience within environmental assessment
• Strong analytical, reporting and verbal communication skills.
• A client service focus with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in team environments.
• Valid/ current driver's license.
