Description: The greenfield engineering team is responsible for designing and supporting production facilities, process plants and gathering systems to support upstream onshore oil & gas surface facilities. Knowledge of process design, construction, and operation of surface facilities including piping designed to ASME B31.3,31.4 & 31.8 is required. This position will be responsible for implementation of standard designs and existing facility upgrades/optimizations to ensure safe and reliable operations for Chevron RBU. Scopes include providing engineering support for foremen and superintendents, including support during construction and start-up. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems at existing facilities and generate solutions is required while functioning as a company representative/inspector for construction activities. This position must provide input to improve operations, including project recommendations, cost estimates, economic justifications, early phase regulatory/permitting deliverables, detailed design delivery (IFC package) and support for procurement. Individuals will be required to utilize work processes such as MOC, PHA, PSSR, incident investigations and project progression meetings with commitment to IFO and Safe Work Practices. Individual must also work with a variety of teams/disciplines to be successful, building strong working relationships with field operations is critical as there will be extensive interfacing with multiple teams including operations, Asset Development, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial, Land, HSE, Business partners etc. This position will be based in Greeley, CO and will support Chevron development South of Kersey, CO. Frequent field trips required one per week with commute of ~45mins from Greeley office each way.
