Contract: SAP Technician / Lloydminster

The highly valued Oil and Gas Client is seeking to add an SAP Technician to join their Upstream, Thermal, Major Projects & Offshore team on a long-term contract, located in Lloydminister, SK. OVERVIEW:

The Lloydminster SAP asset master data team is responsible for the technical management of facility, well and equipment data to provide an accurate digital representation of the Client's operational assets.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

•           This position is responsible to investigate and collaborate with internal and external teams to verify data to accurately create credible asset information in SAP to optimize costs and improve lifecycle.

•           This position is responsible to manage work from multiple assets across one or more business areas in Canada.

•           This position is responsible to comply with data standards, which is a key metric.

•           This position is mainly independent, requiring decision making based on standards and training.

•           This position may be required to influence stakeholders to maintain data quality standards.

•           This position involves investigating and collaborating with internal and external teams to verify data and documents before accurately entering the data into SAP in accordance with the Client's standards.

•           Attention to detail and ability to accurately assess information to make decisions is key to this role.

•           This role is primarily in an office environment and does not include field work.

•           This position mainly follows defined processes to complete work.

•           This position may have the opportunity to manage initiatives related to data improvement.

•           This position is best suited for a team player that can work with multiple stakeholders to achieve success.

•           Partners include operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, supply chain and service teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•           High School Diploma

•           Business / Technical Diploma and / or equivalent training is an asset

•           Experience with SAP, or asset management software, is an asset

•           Oil and gas equipment knowledge is an asset

•           Attention to detail - able to find errors and anomalies in large data sets

•           Critical thinking - able to investigate and determine a course of action based on findings

•           Ability to accurately assess information to make decisions

•           Effective communication skills with field and office personnel

•           Able to adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines

•           Able to organize and manage multiple work streams

•           Candidates must be local to Lloydminister, SK or surrounding areas
