This ICT Project Engineer opportunity will see you scoping, integrating and managing the delivery of the ICT requirements needed for technology advancements within a major global operator.
Please note - this is a Perth based contract role with occasional travel requirements to remote sites and international locations as required.Key responsibilities:

  • Develop the ICT Execution Plan
  • Building an effective and collaborative working culture between Project Team/ Prelude Asset Team/ EPCI Contactor/ Company installation Contractor.
  • Fully engaging with the Prelude Asset and Prelude Subject Matter experts to understand Prelude Asset Ways of Working;
  • Interfacing with Prelude IT Project Manager on ICT Tie-Ins
  • Assisting the EPCI Contractor perform site investigations and develop the Brownfield ICT scope offshore onboard Prelude FLNG;
  • Develop in conjunction with Prelude Asset Team the Installation Strategy and installation scope of work for Brownfield ICT Modification scope onboard Prelude FLNG;
  • Contract Admin for Assigned Areas
  • Monitoring Contractors compliance with the EPCI Contract for areas of responsibility.
  • Variation Claims Management for Assigned Areas
  • Claims Defense for Assigned Areas
  • Package / Area Procurement Management - Multiple Sub-packages
  • Assuring Contractors vendor packages meet Not Normally Manned Quality and Reliability Specification Requirements.
  • Critical Path for Assigned Packages
  • Development of Owners Team Procedures and Workflows
  • Audit of Contractor Plans, Procedures and Workflows
  • Building the desired HSSE culture in the owner and contractor teams to achieve Goal Zero. Shaping a culture of safe behaviours and practices throughout the project phases
  • Building an effective Not Normally Manned Quality Culture in the owner and contractor teams to achieve Right-First-Time delivery.
  • Quality for Assigned Packages; Vendor Inspections/Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Quality Resolution of Multidiscipline NCRs/Audits
  • Management of Change (No Change Mindset)
  • Risk Management
  • Interface Management (Both Topsides to other scopes and intra-topsides within packages)

  • Rigorous management of the topsides cost and schedule to identify early areas for attention to the Crux Topsides Lead, working with the contractors to delivery to project expectations.

Experiences and qualifications required
  • The position requires a candidate with proven Project Engineering experience in brownfield Offshore project delivery, preferably in one or more phases of design, fabrication, construction, commissioning and start-up; AND experience and understanding of Instrumentation, Control and Telecommunications; and an understanding of Process Control Domain (PCD-IT) Security.
  • Essential criteria are strong integrative leadership and communication skills; collaboration skills working with the multiple contractors (and sub-contractors) and practical experience in dealing with HSSE critical and complex stakeholder engagement matters.
  • Experience in an engineering design and procurement office.
  • Experience in equipment package delivery.
  • Experience in Asset-related brownfields scope delivery.
  • Experience in contract management - tendering and/or administering Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation Contracts.
  • Engineering Degree with at a minimum of 10 years project delivery experience in the hydrocarbon processing industry (preferably offshore).
  • Knowledge in Process Automation Systems (PAS) including DCS architecture, networks, communication protocols, interfaces and asset management systems.
  • Basic knowledge in PCD integrity and Security
  • Basic Knowledge of IT project delivery assurance
  • Knowledge in Operational interfaces including HMI and alarm management. Previous experience with PI is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Subsea control system and its interface to topside.
  • Knowledge in Electrical monitoring systems and power management systems and required interfaces with PAS
