Contract: Procurement Specialist / Aberdeen

The client, a market leading, global oilfield services company are looking to hire a Procurement Specialist on a 6-month PAYE contract. There may be scope for extension to the contract duration, dependant on business requirements. This position will be based at their office in Stoneywood, Aberdeen. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Place and follow-up on PO’s.
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
• Manage problems and schedule changes.
• Update ERP.
• Detects and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
• Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
• Contributes to project as a team member.

Work goals typically take 1-3 months to complete, and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months.

Monday - Friday,
37.5 hours per week. 

Rate of pay:
Negotiable, dependant on experience.
