Currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Australian team in Melbourne, Victoria. Use your engineering and project management skills to help deliver next-generation energy resource solutions, including energy storage and solar, for the electric power system, and see your solutions deployed with real-world customers who are incorporating distributed energy resources into the grid.
This position requires a fair amount of travel across the eastern coast of Australia.

Primary responsibilities of the role:
- Manage effective delivery of engineering, procurement construction of for megawatt-scale, grid connected energy storage projects.
- Control contracts, schedule, budgets, and resources required for the delivery of projects.
- Provide weekly and monthly report on project progress, forecasting of required funds with all risks and mitigation proposals highlighted
- Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to deliver solutions to
- Set up meetings with customers and partners, develop meeting agendas, and drive meetings.
- Efficiently and effectively track issues throughout the life of active projects.
- Manage the change order process with customers and vendors.
Qualifications & required experience:
- Qualification in Project Management
- 5 years+ of project management experience (Solar or Battery Storage)
- Ability to coordinate effective labour resource plans, procurement, and delivery of materials to remain close to project forecasts and delivery of services.
- Previous experience with planning, organising, and coordinating delivery requirements of major infrastructure projects.
- Contract knowledge and ability to adhere to obligations under the contract.
- Experience operating and implementing work programs within site, managing sub consultants, financial management and reporting.
- Ability to review the standard and progress of subcontractors’ work.
- Ability to understand and adhere to building legislation
- Experience creating effective and efficient project sign-off processes to ensure projects are finished on time and within budget.
- Strong construction management skills and experience with projects that focus on coordination and quality control of energy system construction.
