Permit to Work Coach/Coordinator
The Global Client are looking for a Permit To Work Coordinator. This position exists to support the PIC and manages the day-to-day implementation of Perth Basin Permit To Work system. The role is a back-to-back role and focused on rolling-out and implementing the new Permit to Work system at site.

The Global Client are looking for a Permit To Work Coordinator. This position exists to support the PIC and manages the day-to-day implementation of Perth Basin Permit To Work system. The role is a back-to-back role and focused on rolling-out and implementing the new Permit to Work system at site.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing the organisations Permit to Work system and associated documents that form part of the Permit to
work and Isolation process. - Liaising with Production, Maintenance, Commissioning and Projects teams to ensure permit to work
requirements are understood and implemented. - Reviewing and recommending work packs for the approval of the PIC.
- Coordinating the day-to-day Isolation and PTW process.
- Maintain records of the PTW documentation including risk assessments to ensure systems compliance.
- Recognition of risks and implementation of appropriate actions.
- Coaching employees and contractors on the application of the permit to work system.
- Â Conducting regular PTW compliance checks to ensure all PTWs are compliant in the field.
- Conducting regular workplace inspections to ensure hazard controls are implemented and
effectiveness. - Identifying and implementing improvements to the permit to work system.
- Notifying management of any non-conformances.
- Staying up to date on regulatory changes for permit to work systems.
- Assisting in training of site personnel.
- Incident investigations as required.
- Provide up to date permit tracking information for the Project as required.
- Organise monthly audits on the PTW system and be a part of the audit team.
- Audit all permits to ensure compliance
- Proven experience and understanding the of Permit to Work and Isolation requirements within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience with risk assessment processes.
- Ability to read and interpret PID Drawings.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessing highly regarded but not essential.
- Ability to organise, prioritise and work independently.
- Competent user of MS Office Suite e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Sound organisational skills, including multitasking, time-management and influencing without
authority. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- Roster: 2x2 (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) 12-hour days.
- Contract start date: ASAP
- Contract duration: 6 months (opportunity for extension)
