Lead Renewables Consultant / Tokyo

The client are looking for a Senior Renewables Consultant who can provide expert technical advice to their cleints and coordinating between the global delivery teams. 

The responsibilites will include:

• Participate in maintaining and developing strategic client relationships.
• Lead the preparation of business proposals as required and delivery of renewable and new energy services to clients.
• Develop productive internal relationships to support a creative and effective team environment with a high degree of personal and professional leadership.
• Establish, maintain, and improve the renewable and new energy knowledge of the APAC Environment and Renewables Division, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all knowledge upon which our products and services are delivered.

Requirements: 

• Tertiary education in an relevant engineering, or scientific discipline and/or 8+ years of experience, including in relation to renewable energy project feasibility, environmental impact assessment or market entry assessment.
• Relevant PhD or Masters qualifications would be a bonus
• Language requirements: Native/fluent in Japanese.
• Ideally would have some experience with offshore wind, wave, tidal or hydrogen technologies and/or offshore renewables project development. Alternatively, PM experience in related energy such as O&G would also be considered.

The office is based in Tokyo and the client adopt a flexible working practice.
