Key Result Areas (Key Accountabilities)
Safety & Business Continuity
1. Drive team safety by ensuring Life Saving Rules and Operations Good Practices are followed.
2. Demonstrate safety leadership values and ensure Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance applicable standards, policies, and procedures are known, understood and followed. Ensure safe systems of work are in place and functional.
3. Conduct incident investigation in accordance with terms of reference and in compliance with the Company Incident investigation framework.
4. Ensure continuity plans, recovery plans and procedures are prepared and up to date and team is trained and ready to implement in case of failure to allow for continuity of business in accordance with business continuity procedures.
5. Drive safety improvements such as flange management and hose management.
Maintenance
6. Be fully conversant with the various types of maintenance strategies and how these are applied to maximise operational availability and deliver business objectives.
7. Develop new and optimise existing planned preventative maintenance plans in order to minimise downtime and have an effective and efficient maintenance program
8. Lead the maintenance team to carry out all maintenance in accordance to procedures, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendation and industry best practices for all onshore operations locations, Gs Control System (GCS), Liquefied natural gas (LNG) and Pipeline.
9. Ensure maintenance procedures, standards and strategies are regularly reviewed, updated and implemented to comply with legislation, industry norms and/or best working practices. Review, and amend as required, Standard Operating Procedures to ensure continued applicability.
10. Ensure timely execution of safety critical equipment inspection, maintenance and testing.
11. Ensure compliance to the timely execution of planned preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance to scheduled dates and priorities. Effectively manage maintenance backlog for both Safety and Non Safety Critical activities,
12. Responsible for formal deferment of all Safety Critical Equipment inspection, maintenance and testing in accordance with deferment procedure.
13. Responsible to ensure all operations with deviation are risk assessed and formally approved in accordance with Operations Risk Assessment (ORA) procedure.
14. Responsible for daily and monthly reporting of maintenance activities.
15. Drive root cause analysis and identify bad actors
16. Optimise maintenance spares and equipment Bill Of Materials (BOM).
Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) & Planning
17. Responsible for maintaining onshore operations Planned Maintenance Records (PMR) of the company CMMS system and ensure all maintenances is planned, scheduled and recorded in CMMS.
18. Delivery of process improvement projects within Oracle CMMS.
19. Management of CMMS team and resources to ensure the work is progressed as per the business need.
20. Identifies and captures new asset registration and maintenance build for project scopes.
21. Optimise and improve the phasing and scheduling of the maintenance program.
22. Ensure team compliance with work request and work order process and accurate assignment of operations and allocation of materials, human resources and contractors services.
23. Publish maintenance monthly progress and Key Performance Indicators.
[KPI] compliance report.
People Management
24. Manage, supervise, coach and counsel direct reports for continued individual and department performance improvement and ensure maintenance department employees are fully aware of their responsibilities and performance expectations through Performance Management process.
25. Identify and address competency gaps and organise technical training.
26. Identify additional competency required for carrying maintenance for new assets.

Job Requirements:
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maintenance or Discipline engineering
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience subsequent to completion of training, with minimum of 6 years as a Maintenance Lead within the Gas / Petroleum Industry.
- Expert with CMMS systems such as Oracle, Maximo and SAP
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Currently holds, or has ability to easily obtain a UAE driving license and has a good driving record.
- Working knowledge of computer applications software such as Microsoft Office/Project etc.
- Strong focus on process improvements and gap analysis is key for success in this role.
