Contract: SEP Project Engineer / Algeria

Location: Krechba (In Salah Gas) Algeria
Duration: 12 months renewable contract
Rotation: 4 weeks on 4 weeks off

Job Description:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the overall management of the projects.
–Manage a portfolio of primarily electrical & telecoms
–Identify material requirements, initiate and follow-up of procurement
–Facilitate assessments for Design and Construction.
–Interface with Technical Authorities on Scope of Requirement and Technical Standards.
–Interface with the Construction Department .
–Input to detailed plan for modifications.  
–Manage cost performance against agreed budgets

Job Requirements:

–The post-holder shall be degree qualified in engineering
–Minimum of 5 years experience as an engineer within mechanical, instrument or electrical discipline in the gas / oil industry
–Minimum of 4 years experience in project engineering and execution
–Working knowledge of the standards, design, construction, operation and maintenance for the systems and equipment used in the industry.
–Project and operations planning principles and systems.
–Team player, committed to building good working relationships.
 
Language Skills.
•English - fluent ( read and write )
•French – some command of French would be beneficial
