Job Description: -

Marine college. (Desk officer or engine officer).
COC (certificate of competency) – Marine license.
Minimum 5 Years of experience in offshore mobile drilling unit.
OIM bottom bearing on location/underway license.
Complete 5 – 10 rigs move.
Knowledge of technical calculations required for the safe operation of marine aspects of drilling unit.
Demonstrate knowledge of stability.

Job Responsibilities: -

Ensure all marine aspects of the rig’s operations are carried out in accordance with statutory and regulatory controls and guidelines.
Supervise the operation of marine department to ensure the safe and efficient running of the rig.
