Contract: Structural Engineer / New Orleans

Structural Engineer desired with general experience in concrete and steel design.   Experience in heavy industrial equipment foundations, industrial building foundations, pipe rack foundations, large steel framed mining and process buildings and related structures.   Must be able to provide detailed design and adequately communicate designs to drafters/designers and produce documents suitable for construction.   The successful candidate would have a background in design of heavy industrial and petro chemical facilities.  Experience in rigid frame industrial building design is a plus.  Should have experience in RISA or other similar software. Should have experience in wind seismic design and familiarity with all applicable design codes.   Successful candidate should also feel comfortable leading deign efforts and working with younger engineers.   Successful candidate should also feel comfortable working multiple small projects at one time.
