Contract: HSE (Construction) / Carlsbad

Job Description:
• Sets a high standard for safety performance while performing work on locations Works to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local government laws and regulations and company EHS requirements.
• Participate in morning safety meetings/tail gate safety meetings and work with contractors to help solidify JHA’s and Hazard recognition/mitigation.
• Carries out complex EHS assignments independently Consulting with peers and subordinates when they are in doubt as to how to safely approach any work-related job situation.
• Conduct field safety evaluations and report findings and corrective actions to appropriate personnel.
• Participate in investigating incidents that impact the environment or safety of employees, contractors or the public. Oversee corrective actions derived from an incident investigation; Develops, gathers and maintains EHS data to compose EHS reports and regulatory documents.
• Participates in EHS field reviews and training programs as may be required
