The client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Subsea Supervisor, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:
* Actively participate in managing all aspects of safety, promoting safety culture, and ensuring full use of safety tools during onsite activities.
* Control work by ensuring subsea operations is performed as per approved work programme, under a PTW, with full awareness of all associated risks.
* Ensure emergency preparedness, to include conducting of emergency drills with onsite team.
* Ensure continuous reporting of HSE concerns/incidents within assigned team. Communicate relevant safety alerts.
* Supervision of subsea operations onsite under direction of the Well Intervention Supervisor, Onshore Superintendent and Well Engineer. Communicates and reports daily to Well Intervention Supervisor and Onshore Superintendent.
* Offshore focal point for safety, technical and operational aspects of subsea operations including well construction, well intervention (including Light Well Intervention) and work overs.
* Financial oversight and accountability for personnel, equipment, and processes during execution.
* Drive a continuous performance improvement mindset within the offshore team.
* Captures and communicates and closes out lessons learned and improvement opportunities with onshore, service company and other stakeholders, inputting into wash-up and retrospective sessions.
* Involved in the identification and resolution of well integrity problems. Acts on any well abnormalities, under instruction of the Well Intervention Supervisor, Onshore Superintendent and Well Engineer, and initiates remedial actions to maintain well safety and availability.
* Provide thorough and factual operational and End of Well reporting.
* Ensure streamlined operational and logistic planning by creating and distributing structured planning documents to all stakeholders. Organising personnel and equipment movements in line with the operational plan.
* Prepare procedures and detailed work instructions.
* Support the QA/QC process by inputting to the TPFR system and closing out assigned actions.
* Chair pre-job meetings and lead TBTs.
* Perform onshore roles when required:
o Prepare and review work programmes and technical reports.
o Participate in HAZID/HAZOPs and onshore risk assessments.
o Participate in contractor site/process technical and safety audits.
o Participate in, supervise and approve FATs, Hook-Up, FTs, and SITs on supplier's premises.

Experience & Qualifications:
* Educated to HNC or equivalent or have completed similar industry training with appropriate experience in subsea discipline specific to Light Well Intervention and conventional MODU activities.
* Able to demonstrate detailed technical knowledge of Light Well Intervention and conventional MODU operations to include engineering, preparation, execution, and close-out.
* Experience in dual bore VXT as well as HXT systems and associated IWOCs for both.
* Good working knowledge of relevant standards and procedures, awareness of well control generalities and be trained to a level appropriate to statutory regulations.
* Experienced in supervising a diverse team, logistics, SIMOPS, and all HSE aspects of offshore operations.
* Able to demonstrate planning, management, and negotiation skills.
* Valid Offshore Survival, MIST, OEUK Offshore Medical, IWCF or similar.
