Business Financial Analyst / Aberdeen

The client is seeking an experienced Business Financial Analyst for an immediate 3-month contract commencing asap. There is a chance of some extension to this.

Candidates should have a background in financial reporting around ERP systems, ideally SAP and have advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables.

PAYE position based in Aberdeen. Previous ERP Financial reporting highly advantageous including SAP.

Responsibilities:
* A reporting consultant / contractor that can create a suite of Finance Reports from S/Hana and/or Analysis for Office / Excel. Examples
* Asset by Period (ie Profit Centre / Cost Centre by Period); Cash Flow Reports; Budget Variance Reports
* Individual will need to work closely with the Finance team and the SI partner to design and build the reports - got to have good
* communication skills and foster collaborative working. May be asked to support with some reports for HR (Success F actors too)
* Flexible working, but needs to be present to build relationship in Aberdeen office frequently

Experience & Qualifications:
* Understanding of SAP finance (how profit, cost an wBS elements are used: Essential
* Use of Analysis for Office.Essential
* Use of Excel: Essential
* Finance expert, an Accountant, by qualification or deep experience
* Oil/Gas not essential, but would be a bonus
