ation? Are there homeworking possibilities? To be agreed Summary Profile 15+ years of experience Scope of Work Consultant will work within a project team responsible for building a new green field YaraVita plant in
north Yorkshire, UK.
Key activities will include:
-Organizing, development, follow up, monitoring and controlling the project overall accounting and de
tailed schedules.
- maintaining an overall interface management and risk registers and following up with project team
for status and feedback on open actions.
-Coordinating schedule follow/input and progress reports from different project members.
-Supporting project team members in analyzing and reporting on schedules
-Coordinating reviews and commenting on contractors’ monthly reports
-Coordination and preparation of cost reports and overall project monthly reports and input for
owner’s committee presentations.
-Review and control invoices from contractor s and other sources for approval.
Job Responsibilities - Deliverables ? Manage the day-to-day aspects of planning and scheduling, cost engineering, and meet chang
ing needs and requirements in these functions on the project.
? Ensure quality and correctness of overall cost, schedule and progress control deliverables. Re
view all Project Controls deliverables and ensure on time delivery of all required reporting to the
stakeholders.
? Ensure compliance of all project control reports to Yara’s QA and HES policies and standards.
? Develop an integrated progress measurement reporting based on earned value management
and combining progress from Yara and all contractors.
? Create a cost, schedule, and risk awareness atmosphere amongst all project team members and
stakeholders.
? Monitor the project cost forecast and project trend reports. Ensure timely awareness on devia
tions to project cost and schedule, and that mitigation plans are developed in conjunction with
the applicable project specialists.
? Ensure KPI’s and metrics for all the areas related to project controls are adequate and available
to the current project phase.
? Organize and facilitate interactive planning sessions.
? Be the owner of the ITB documents and contractual documents related to Project Controls.
? Evaluate contractors’ proposals and interview contractors project controls personnel. Ensure that
their tools are capable of meeting client's requirements.
? Ensure Contractors and Subcontractors perform Project Controls in accordance with YPPS Man
agement System and contractual requirements.
? Ensure that Yara is meeting its contractual obligations in terms of project controls towards its
Contractors.
? Assist Project and Procurement & Contracting Management in contract administration towards
Contractors. Produce or coordinate ad-hoc reports and responses to claims.
? At project close out, deliver close-out data (scheduling, progress, resources and cost) to enable
project data compilation, delay analysis (if applicable) and lessons learned Duration/milestones Commencement
