Cost Engineer

Responsibilities
* Review and update cost reports with VOWD commitment and forecasts on a monthly basis
* Population of cost report narrative for submission to client
* Internally review cost reports with Project Manager(s)
* Review and approve purchase and service order requests ensuring budget is in place, providing coding and updating forecast
* Review and record estimates and change orders
* Flag any cost concerns and Raise Potential change orders to Project Manager
* Highlight any issues with senior management
* Liaise with accounts for tracking of invoices
* Liaise with Project controls and management functions

Skills
* Cost control experience preferred, or experience in a similar role
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Similar industry experience preferred
* Demonstrate strong capabilities in Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Excel
* Mpower experience would be advantageous but not necessary
* Extensive Knowledge of cost control/reporting techniques & methods would be advantageous
