Lead of Loss Prevention / Qatar

We have a contract opportunity for a Lead of Loss Prevention, working for a major Oil and Gas client based in Doha, Qatar.

The post holder will develop and lead comprehensive Loss Prevention activities for offshore Projects, ensuring all safety and loss prevention requirements such as philosophies, codes, practices are in compliance with project and COMPANY requirements and standards.

In addition the post holder will:

• Provide clear guidance to the EPC contractor and facilitate resolution of loss prevention issues to complete discipline activities consistent with project objectives and milestones
• Develop safe, fit-for-purpose technical solutions that meet the intent of project requirements.
• Review Contractor's Loss Prevention/Process Safety Engineering design deliverables.
• Support the EPC by providing clear guidance to close out appropriate actions associated with LP activities such as safety case studies, risk assessments, HAZOPs etc
• Risk based evaluation of complex technical issues that may have significant commercial impacts to overall project execution
• Facilitation of risk assessment sessions with the participation of different stakeholders
