We are looking for a Project Development Assistant with outstanding organization skills and at least 2 years of work experience in a related field. The Project Development Assistant will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, collecting and filing all required documentation, and providing administrative support as needed. Other responsibilities include ensuring projects' compliance with grant regulations, creating project management calendars, and coordinating permitting efforts with project development teams. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in a relevant discipline, familiarity with the renewable energy sector (but not essential), and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in English is considered an asset. If you are highly organized, have excellent written reporting skills, and are comfortable working on tight deadlines, we encourage you to apply. Job responsibilities:Reporting to the Development Manager, The Project Development Assistant will:- Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, timesheets, budgets, and expenditures. - Assist with collecting, recording, and filing all required documentation- Prepare necessary presentation materials.- Provide administrative support as needed.- Ensure projects' compliance to grant regulations and procedures.- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.- Liaise with project development teams to support and coordinate permitting efforts- Support the preparation of necessary documents for project development.- Undertake project tasks as required, performing other related tasks or duties as applicable. Profile:- A university degree in a relevant discipline.- At least 2 years work experience in related field.- Outstanding organisation skills.- Familiarity with the renewable energy sector is an asset, but not essential.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Outstanding written reporting skills.- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks with competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.- Ability to work on tight deadlines.- Fluency in English is considered an asset.
