Job Title: Project Control Manager - EPC Oil and Gas

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Control Manager to join our team for the early civil works phase of oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project controls systems to ensure effective planning, monitoring, and reporting of project performance metrics, including cost, schedule, and quality. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive project success.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement project control processes and procedures to monitor and track project performance against established baselines, including cost, schedule, and quality metrics.
2. Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
3. Establish and maintain project cost control systems, including cost estimating, budget development, cost tracking, and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project financial status.
4. Monitor project schedules and milestones to identify potential delays or deviations and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies and recovery plans.
5. Analyze project performance data and prepare regular progress reports, variance analyses, and trend analyses for management and clients to support informed decision-making.
6. Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and uncertainties.
7. Manage project change control processes, including the evaluation of change requests, impact assessments, and the preparation of change orders as necessary.
8. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources required for project activities while maintaining cost control measures.
9. Support project invoicing and billing processes by verifying project costs, milestones, and deliverables in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
10. Provide leadership and guidance to project control team members, including mentoring, training, and performance management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or related roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry with exposure to early civil works projects.
3. Strong understanding of project management principles, project controls methodologies, and industry best practices.
4. Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Earned Value Management (EVM) systems.
5. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting purposes.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
8. Experience with risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
9. Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards applicable to oil and gas construction projects.
10. Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) and project controls (e.g., CCP, PSP) are a plus.

Location: 
Potential travel to project sites as required.
