Contract: Drilling & Well Engineers - Specialist Hydraulic Stimulation / Norway

The client is currently recruiting for the position of Drilling & Well Engineers - Specialist Hydraulic Stimulation, based in Norway. Please note that candidates must be resident in Norway at present and must be able to speak Norwegian.

Responsibilities:

The engineer shall provide supervision to Hydraulic Stimulation operations offshore Norway:

Quality-control of fluids, proppants and deliveries from the frack-company, execution and interpretation of pre-job diagnostic injection tests, job re-design based on diagnostics, supervision of the pumping-job, post-job evaluation and reporting.

Some onshore-work planning-work must expected (pre-/postjob). The work may be performed independently or in cooperation with company fracturing specialists.

Experience & Qualifications:

Master or bachelor's degree within relevant technical disciplines. Long and relevant experience may compensate for lacking formal requirements.

Valid Offshore Safety Course.
