Title: Offshore Production Superintendent
Report to: Offshore Field Manager
Department/Division: Field/Operations
Working Location: Offshore - Sabratha 21/21 rotation
Job Description:
Responsible for all operational aspects of the Company's Oil & Gas plant with respect to meet production targets within approved operational budgets in accordance with the acceptable industry standards for health, safety and to perform the following tasks:
? Ensure that production activities are carry out in respect of safety and environment
Company standard
Ensure that the final products meet the quality and quantity requirements in accordance with the applicable contracts
Responsible for the optimization of plant operations through evaluation and implementation of operational changes and modifications in order to reduce costs, maintain asset values and enhance HSE results
Make recommendations for future investment of equipment replacement. Initiated the engineering studies to enhance productivity, improve operability, reliability and eliminate bottlenecks.
Planning manpower training, and development for operational employees from initial program definition, development through to execution
? Provision of key budget information for the preparation of operational budgets and
stewarding of such approved budgets.
Responsible for operational forward planning with respect to routine plant operations and scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance turnarounds.
Liaises with Field Manager & Maintenance Supt. to ensure maintenance work is carried out in line with operational requirements.
Directs the Process Engineering function, evaluating Plant performance, initiating improvements, problem solving etc. Initiates Facility Change Procedure for Plant modifications.
Maintains up to date Operating Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures, Laboratory Procedures, Operator information Bulletins, etc.
? Follow up the daily routine production/maintenance activities in accordance with
approved Permit to Work and Company procedures and best practices
Contribute to the Company's continuous improvement in HSE performance by ensuring safety and environmental standards are maintained within the workplace by providing ongoing training to all staff and ensuring the appropriate control mechanisms, procedures and processes in accordance of the Company Policy
Education Level and Training:
* Degree/Diploma in a related Engineering discipline
* Good knowledge of English language
* BOSIET (offshore survival and fire fighting) and H2S Training Courses
* Risk Emergency Management
Reguired Experience:
* Minimum 15 years experience of complex oil & gas plants including Greenfield/Brownfield commissioning and start-ups
* Minimum five years senior supervisory experience
* Possess excellent communication, man-management, organizational and planning skills and be a team player
* Be acquainted with international regulations and standards.
* Knowledge of safety regulations applied by oil industry
