Telecom Engineer

The client is an international engineering, design, fabrication, and installation contractor with comprehensive project management experience across all phases of energy projects.

They are looking for a Contract (1 year, extendable) Telecom Engineer to join their dedicated people in the Project Engineering team at the Singapore office. The role of their Project Engineering team is to deliver the Telecoms Systems to their customers in the Oil and Gas, and Wind industries.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

You will work in a Project team and your responsibilities and tasks will include:
* Front End Engineering Design
* Develop detailed system design; including integration of systems
* Calculation & studies (RF, Network, PAGA, CCTV, etc.)
* Provide accurate and detailed project documents and drawings
* Interface with sub-vendors to ensure they meet the project requirements.
* Configuration and testing
* Support to the Service team
* Support to the tender and sales team

Who we are looking for

You shall have a relevant professional background with a Degree in Telecommunication subject and project engineering experience in the energy sector (Oil & Gas, Wind, etc.). You must have proficiency in a wide range of technologies including Data Network, Voice, Radios, PAGA, CCTV, Metocean, Acess Control, Radar, VSAT, Navigation, Microwave, etc.

As a team player, you shall be organized with good attention to detail and having a positive attitude with a proactive and practical approach to work. You need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of IT and software-based solutions. Fluency in English is essential.
