TASKS TO BE PERFORMED
As part of the Pre-Project activities on Elk and Antelope gas field developments in Papua New Guinea (PNG), we are looking for an reservoir engineering service from September 2021 to December 2021. Due to carbon neutrality strategy for PNG, we are evaluating the impact of re-injecting the native acid gas (CO2 and H2S) in a producing gas field for a limited amount of time (2-4 years). The recycling of the acid gas has an impact on the sizing of Acid Gas Removal Unit (AGRU). The reservoir engineering activities consist of reservoir simulations both with compositional and dual media models in Eclipse and Intersect.
Throughout the course of the study, the following task shall be expected: * Screening and evaluating the dynamic impact of o several geological concepts (karsts, fractures and other heterogeneities) o several geophysical concepts (topography and carbonate build-up barriers) * History matching of the retained concepts and scenarios from the screening study with experimental design * Forecasting the history-matched models and several sensitivities on development plan
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
* An advanced expertise is required in: o Reservoir engineering, geoscience disciplines o Expertise in dynamic simulation using Eclipse and Intersect simulation software. o Good experience in the reservoir simulation of carbonate fields, both fractured and karstified. o Compositional model simulations in Eclipse and Intersect for a gas field. o Dual media simulations in carbonate fields with both fractures and karstic zones. o CO2 storage and CO2 phase behavior.
* The service will: o be performed in English within a multicultural context. o imply the use of Petrel RE, Eclipse, Intersect, EST (training material and support will be provided).
