Currently Queensland’s Energy industry is in recovering strongly. As such we are now seeking an experienced Rig Program Coordinator to fulfil a 12-month contract position based in Western Queensland working a family friendly 15/13 rotation.
 
As a key member of the team the primary responsibility of the Rig Program Coordinator is the day-to-day management, coordination, and support of the End-to-End Workover process across the Upstream Asset.
 
Responsibilities will include though are not limited to:
 
  • Day-to-day operational leadership and coordination of supporting teams including Well Operations, Upstream Wells and Gathering Operations and Upstream Maintenance
  • Ensures a strong focus on Operational Excellence, Maintenance Excellence and Production Optimisation initiatives within their area of responsibility.
  • Lead, coordinate, and monitor End-to-End Workover Activity
  • Coordinate comprehensive and accurate inspections of asset prior to Workover Activity
 
Experience will include though is not limited to:
 
  • More than 5 years’ experience in Production Operations, Maintenance or Heavy Construction
  • Relevant trade qualifications (or equivalent extensive experience / demonstrated technical aptitude)
  • Advanced troubleshooting capability for hydraulic power units
  • High proficiency and exposure to working by influence and collaboration
  • Strong understanding of Control of Work, including Permit to Work, Lock Out Tag Out
  • Advanced production data analysis and computing skills (including use of Microsoft Office, Maximo CMMS, PI Production Data & Trending, ePTW, Document Management systems)
  • Ability to optimise End to End Rig Activity process using available systems, data, and effective analytical skills
 
Along with this your professionalism and leadership qualities will enable effective communication with the team ensuring cohesion and commitment to organizational processes and safe work practices.  

The ideal candidate for this role will be will locally based in the Surat basin or mobilise from Brisbane, on a highly sought 15/13 rotation.  In return for your commitment, you will be offered excellent day rate commencing for 12 contract term along with the opportunity to establish yourself with an international expert.
