The valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are looking for an Expert Trainer to join their busy Calgary team. This will be a one year contracted role.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:

Please note: Regarding travel, several sites are rolling this program out so contractor would need to attend multiple locations. Will be based at Calgary Office/Homebased until Site is open.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and executes comprehensive training efforts based on Human Performance (Safety in the Workplace).
- Responsible for developing a training plan, the curriculum and logistics, and the courses and supporting materials.
- Conducts course presentations and develops and delivers e-Learning courses.
- Provides train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.
- Develops and/or update training plans. May have specialized training focus.
- Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
- Expert Trainer who has extensive experience in the field and supervising and mentoring lower-level Trainers.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Training curriculum creation and delivery.
- Strong classroom (Instructor Lead) experience. Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Professional Educator with bachelor’s degree, minimum of 5-10 years’ experience
- Will need to be able to build a curriculum, teach the curriculum to others as well as guide the others to be able to then teach to others.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Industrial experience is a plus
- Human Behavior background is a plus
- Advanced use of PowerPoint and Excel needed
