We are looking for Project Engineers to work within umbilicals
Position responsibilities:
Required education, experience and skills:
Due to the current pandemic restrictions, only candidates that are already located in Scandinavia can be considered for this assignment.
Position responsibilities:
- Delivery of high-quality technical output from engineering activities related to the WP’s scope
- Ensure compliance with the project execution model, dept procedures, project requirements and applicable standards & regulations
- Identify implications of changes in line with related engineering processes
- Prepare/facilitate and/or participate in design reviews
- Create and maintain Materials and BoMs in SAP and ensure relevant input is obtained and implemented in MM (Material Master) with regards to NDT, coating, material grade and documentation requirements
- Provide technical input to Lead engineer/Team Lead and/or procurement department (Supply Chain)
- Provide technical support to sub-contractors and suppliers
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to a continuous improvement culture
- Proactively gain and share knowledge/experience within team, department, TPM and Workshop
- Ensure relevant Lessons Learnt are captured, understood and recorded as required
- Deliver OTQD (On Time Quality Delivery) engineering documentation according to agreed standards
Required education, experience and skills:
- BSc or MSc in a relevant engineering discipline and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of and experience with engineering and project execution work processes
- General understanding of the (umbilicals) business area
- Proven knowledge of SAP ERP system (Templates, doc WF, Material Master, BOMs, NCRs, ECs)
- Experience from all phases of a subsea project but specifically assembly, test FAT/EFAT (Gas testing, acceptance criteria, leakages, failure modes, test equipment needed) and delivery phase including logistics
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Good technical, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work in a team
- Ability to plan and prioritize own activities and manage own workload with minimum supervision in addition to working under pressure while maintaining On Time Delivery and Quality mindset
- Design experience is considered a plus
