This role represents a great opportunity for a credentialed and experienced Communications and Community Relations Specialist to join a global energy business. Working from home and/or their Melbourne head office, you will play a key role in supporting their Australian oil and gas operations, working to key monthly, quarterly and annual milestones. This is a full time position starting in early March 2022. A market leading salary is on offer as well as the chance to join an industry leader. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES

Content development
• Develop and deliver written and digital content for use across various platforms, including intranet, website and social media.
• Develop relationships with operating sites to identify content opportunities and feed these into the content calendar.
• Coordinate photo and video shoots.
• Coordinate the production of other communications materials, such as fact sheets and brochures as required.
• Ensure that all communications reflect the company's brand guidelines.

Digital communications
• Publish information on the business website and inside Australia intranet.
• Assist with periodic reviews of information on these channels to ensure they remain up to date.

Media monitoring
• Assist in the monitoring and reporting on media coverage including collating and distributing daily news clips when required.

Communications support
• Assist Communications Manager to develop and implement content across social channels, manage events, including employee forums and company-sponsored events, and other activities as required.

Community relations management
• Implement community relations program across fuels business to meet business objectives.
• Steward annual community contributions budget and program for Gippsland business.
• Develop local community relationships and promote community relations initiatives, such as leveraging contributions for media and other communications opportunities.
• Provide community relations assistance and advice to upstream operating sites and projects as required.
