Wind Project Manager Belgium - French speaker

Areas of Responsibility:

Overall HSE responsible for Construction scope on project

The Construction Project Lead is responsible to lead the Zero Harm program and creation of a safe working environment for the Construction scope. He leads by example regarding all HSE standards / procedures. Construction Project Lead must ensure compliance of all client standards and local regulations, he alarms the pertinent authorities and manager/ client / principal contractor in the event of emergencies, accidents or major violations of regulations. He ensures adequate supervision of the daily HSE work on-site to ensure its smooth functioning.

Responsible to deliver KPI targets

He is responsible to meet the project KPI targets (KPI related to HSE, Quality, Progress) set as per client standards per also as per contractual requirements. He is responsible for efficient execution of the project in compliance with customer and subcontractor contracts, to secure the progress according to project plan, to report to Project Manager and Construction Department and to sign documents on behalf of project management if authorized.

Responsible for organizing the site setup

He is responsible for the Construction Strategy setup and the corresponding resources, the overall site organization including commissioning (e.g. organisation chart), site administration setup and general site facilities such as offices. The Construction Project Lead is responsible to lead the site team and ensure the team implement a communication culture by ensuring meetings are conducted. For critical projects, the Construction Project Lead can be permanently mobilized at Site.

Leadership and mentoring

He will participate to the development and mentoring of site management team including training and skills to fulfil client, project and market requirements.

Required experience:

• Qualification in relevant field
• Experience in wind industry is mandatory
• Minimum 5 years site or project management experience in relevant field
• Experience in managing and leading teams and work with subcontractors and clients..
• Knowledge in people and project management methods and techniques, commercial management.
• Documented management experience.
• Excellent IT skills including MS Office/SharePoint
• Good communication skills is essential, both verbally and written.
• Fluent in English and French (spoken/written)
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent with solid technical competencies is preferred.
• Holds driving license
• In good physical health; Ability to travel, will to work at wind farm field for longer time.
