Graduate Architect / Australia

Your new family specialise in quality high-end residential design, construction and landscapes. Their work ranges from small projects to creating some of the finest homes, swimming pools and landscapes in Sydney.

They are seeking an experienced client-facing designer who is highly capable, motivated and driven by conceptual thinking, design and detail.  

What you'll be doing as Graduate Architect:

• Prepare DA/CDC Submissions and document packages
• Hold meetings with and liaise with Clients and Consultants
• Liaise with local Councils
• Develop concept design’s prepared by Principal Designer or Project Architect/Designer
• Develop 3D CAD models for client presentation
• Produce full architectural drawing packages for construction

What you've got to nail this role:

• 2+ years' local experience desired
• Proficient in Vectorworks or ArchiCAD, as well as 3D presentation modelling and documentation
• Demonstrated capability in conceptual design, construction and tender documentation
• Understanding of residential construction methodology
• Ability to liaise with consultants
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with strong organisational skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of BCA's and Australia Standards
