Interface Manager / Tanzania

On behalf of a major EPcM, we are searching for an Interface Manager to join them in Tanzania on a rotational basis, for a huge pipeline construction.

The Interface Manager will coordinate interfaces between internal and external project teams for engineering, procurement and construction support. Specific interfaces to be managed include interfaces between project personnel, Contractors, Vendors, third party personnel and the Client.

• Assist and support the Project Director to achieve Contract objectives
• Develop and maintain the project Interface Management Plan and its supporting tools
• Support and coordinate the resolution of complex interfaces including expediting and escalation as necessary
• Assist Contractors in setting up their Interface Management Plans & Procedures to meet project requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering or related profession.
• At least 15 year related working experience including 10-year experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Proficiency in the use of engineering and project management software programs
• Extensive experience in the engineering, procurement and construction management industry, specifically in the oil & gas (pipelines) industry
• Familiarity with project Contract formats (NEC and FIDIC), implementation and interpretation.
