Job Description:

Both the Mechanical Supervisor's and Lead Mechanical Supervisor's main job purpose is to provide technical (especially mechanical) expertise during the installation and finishing phase in order to prepare the WT/ WF for commissioning. Additionally, the MSV and LMSV can be involved in resolving quality deviations (de-snagging) to ensure not only a smooth handover to the customer but also a smooth operation over the WT's lifetime. To achieve this, all installation and finishing activities are to be executed in a safe manner considering the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities / Accountabilities

It is the general responsibility and obligation to adhere to all HSE standards, protocols and best practices. A MSV/LMSV shall exhibit an upstanding culture of safety and safe work for their own person and all adjacent parties.

Additionally, an MSV/LMSV shall ensure the preservation of the natural environment for the areas in which work is to be performed as well as to promptly report any spillage, littering or other events which could negatively impacted the surrounding area.

It is expected that all employees conduct themselves in a professional manner observing common laws but also local laws provided in the site induction. Moreover, it is expected to be sensitive to the cultural expectations of the community.

The LMSV is the lead coordinating mechanical supervisor and will work closely with the SM and QM and the Team lead Site Supervision to ensure that other assigned MSVs understand the site requirements and obligations. Furthermore, the LMSV will ensure that suitable MSV cover is scheduled and maintained during the execution of the erection and finishing works.
