Steel Detailer / Australia

The Company:

This role is a rare opportunity to join one of the leading structural steel manufacturing companies in Sydney. The company is well organised and offers a full-time, permanent career opportunity in a very busy residential construction market.
The projects will be large scale subdivision housing, house/land package homes for project builders and custom design homes. 

Work hours are 730am - 4pm Monday to Friday based in the office full time.

The Role:

• Plan reading; engineering and architectural documentation
• Production of steel workshop drawings
• Respond clearly and professionally to key clients and customers via email and phone
• Interaction with a variety of internal stakeholders, including co-ordination with an external agency
• QA checks

Skills Required:

• 2+ years’ experience within the domestic housing market
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency using AutoCAD software
• Proficiency using Microsoft applications; Outlook, Excel, Word
• Proven ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment in a professional manner
• Strong customer service
• Ability to work full time in the office, Monday to Friday
