Requirements:

Engineering background (Mechanical, Metallurgical/Materials, Electrical, and Production Engineering preferred); and/or Strong Finance background – CFA, CPA, CA, MBA (Finance major)
5 years of experience in heavy industry like mining, steel
Knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI tools is essential
The person must have strong structuring the information skills. The person should have the ability to connect the dots very quickly and very extensively
Able to establish credibility and effective working relationships with all operational leaders
Strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen. Modelling and simulation of complex ideas into simple excel based model that allows understanding the commercial significance quickly and easily;
Programming skills with ability to model and simulate complex ideas quickly. Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
Ability to manage and deliver strategy in periods of extreme volatility of price and market uncertainty.
Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
Strong analytical and communication skills
