Reporting into the country Manager your role will be to be providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to mega projects in civil infrastructure, commercial construction, marine, power, mining, and oil & gas. The roles scope is to Successfully executively project manage, and co-ordinate the engineering design and implementation in various stages of construction projects across diverse industries in PNG.

• Manage multimillion-dollar contract value construction projects
• Managing major clients at executive or director level
• Recruitment, training and management of large engineering and projects team overseeing complex multi-disciplinary construction projects
• review the deliverables to ensure safety, suitability, and constructability
• liaise between the client or EPC so schedules and budgets can be achieved, civil review as required
• Engineering management of multi disciplinary engineering functions in all projects Mechanical, Electrical and civil contractors
• RFQ, Tender and award process for all projects

Qualifications/Experience:

• Civil/Geotechnical/marine related Engineering Degree
• At least 10 years’ experience in:
  • Engineering consultancy experience
  • Design engineering experience in implementation
  • Construction site experience
  • civil infrastructure, commercial construction or heavy industrial experience
  • Project management of multi-disciplinary engineering works delivery in construction
  • Contractor management
