The client, a Global Energy Operator, is currently seeking a Process Control Network (PCN) Support Specialist to join them for a 12-month contract. Compressed Work Week offered: 9 hour day / 9 day fortnight
Role Responsibilities |
The PCN Support Specialist works closely with instrumentation, control and electrical system engineers, process control engineers, maintenance specialists and operators, as well as OT infrastructure analysts to troubleshoot, maintain and support existing control systems, and is responsible for coordinating the technical scope delivery by the team.
This Specialist will execute the designs and roadmaps developed by Cloud Architects and support Cloud Architects in solution definition, development, build, and test of major/minor infrastructure features and functionalities.
This position will work closely with key operational support teams focusing on operational and reliability requirements to ensure safe and optimal running of the industrial control networks, infrastructure and software.

About You |
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in OT (Operational Technology) infrastructure in an OT environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or related discipline is preferred; however actual hands-on OT industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Extensive support and troubleshooting of Network switching infrastructure (VLANs/VRF), Firewalls, VMware HA/DRS/FT and SAN technologies.
- Advanced support and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows server and client operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, including the management and implementation of Group Policy Objects.
- Experience with maintaining cyber security, information Protection and compliance on process control Systems.
