Project Engineer - Structures / Australia

The Project Engineer will be required to manage structure FMRP (Forecasting, Maintenance refurbishment plan) activities such as structures/ bridges rehabilitation, maintenance, works program, forecasting and cost control as well as effective management of subcontractors and staff within the team to ensure program is running within the budget and time but still delivering quality outcomes.

As the successful candidate in this role, some of your core responsibilities will include;

• Deliver structure works in FMRP (Forecast Maintenance and Refurbishment Plan)
• Develop and support the structure inspection program
• Review of Settlement / CP monitoring reports
• Review of Level 2, Level 3 contract inspections as per VicRoads standards and PSDR (Project Specification and Delivery Requirements)
• Effectively liaise with Asset Team on Record management, Quality and Asset Management/COMS
• Operational management of subcontractors and suppliers
• Understand our clients' needs and add value to their business
• Drive the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the Integrated Contract Management System (ICMS)

Your experience should include but not limited to;
You will have a qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering accompanied with extensive experience ideally within Transport / Roads infrastructure.
You will also possess:

• Ideally 5 years' experience in road structure maintenance works
• Experience in managing safety, environment and quality outcomes in a road network environment
• Demonstrated sound knowledge of structures maintenance and Lifecycle/ rehabilitation works
• Demonstrated sound knowledge of VicRoads/DOT specifications
• PPP experience and/or Asset Management experience (desirable)
• Strong skills in subcontractor management
