Site Supervisor - Residential Homes / Australia

This company builds 80 homes a year and is growing across Melbourne and Canberra. This company has been around for over 10 years and has a great reputation in the ACT getting most of their work by word of mouth. They build custom and project homes and offer house and land packages. 

Great office culture with little staff turnover. Their reputation gets them many repeat client and client referrals across the ACT and VIC. The office is diverse, fun and laid back but hard working. Everyone is highly experienced and open to supporting new and junior staff. They have a great office location in the heart of Canberra with many surrounding restaurants and coffee shops. 

They're looking to add a member to their supervising team, overseeing projects across Canberra, up to 20 homes at a time. The role will include a vehicle in addition to the salary. 

Responsibilities

• Maintain construction management software
• Liaise with and coordinate all trades / suppliers to deliver services on time
• Liaise with clients and keep them up to date with their homes
• Check materials delivered to ensure they are correct
• Ensure all project milestones are reached as per the scheduled timeframes
• Undertake quality control process throughout the construction process and action any defects
• Solve construction issues with trades and suppliers in an efficient timeframe
• Undertake WHS inspections and ensure construction sites are in a clean and safe condition
• Coordinate trades and clients during maintenance period
• Site visits during sales stage to complete site assessment

Your background: 

• 3+ years' experience supervising homes 
• Volume or custom housing experience
• Trade background or construction qualification 
• Proven time management and organisational skills
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook
