Contract Manager - Hydropower Project (FIDIC Silver Book)About Us: We are pleased to represent a prominent European Consultancy with a formidable presence in the engineering and construction sector. In pursuit of excellence, we are currently in search of an adept Contract Manager to join our team. This opportunity arises in the context of an extraordinary project, the construction of the world's highest dam. Given the immense scale of this endeavor, we are seeking an exceptional candidate with substantial experience in hydro projects, particularly as a Contract Manager for large-scale initiatives. Familiarity with FIDIC Silver Book contracts is imperative.

Key Responsibilities: As Contract Manager, you will assume the following key responsibilities:

Oversee all contractual aspects related to multiple Construction Lots (currently consisting of 3 EPC Contracts under FIDIC Silverbook).Provide guidance and collaboration to the site team, including CRE, Deputy Contract Manager, Quantity Surveyors, Planners, Technical Resident Engineers, Legal Counsel, and others as required.Coordinate, review, and validate inputs and outputs from the site team to support your contractual responsibilities.Prepare essential documentation, including reports, correspondence, Minutes of Meetings, and more.

Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering and/or a Master's in Construction Law.A minimum of 25 years of international experience in the construction industry, with a significant focus on Large Hydropower projects.Profound expertise in FIDIC contracts, encompassing Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book, etc.Extensive track record of managing EPC Contracts, including involvement in at least 3 FIDIC Silver Book projects.Familiarity with Dispute Adjudication Board (DAB) and/or Arbitration is advantageous.Exceptional written communication skills, particularly in English. Knowledge of Russian is a plus.A quick learner with a proactive mindset and a strong team player in an international context.

Essential Requirements: To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:Prior experience as a Contract Manager.Previous involvement in a minimum of 2 hydropower or dam projects.Proven experience working with FIDIC contracts, especially the Silver Book.

Project Location: Tajikistan
