Team Lead Queensland – Control Systems

About our client:
Our client is a leading provider of innovative, national automation engineering solutions to the power and renewables, mining and water sectors. With a commitment to providing expert assistance and leading-edge technology in service delivery, they are seeking a Brisbane-based Team Lead to manage their project team functions.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Operationally lead teams of Control Systems Engineers and Technicians to deliver mainly medium and large sized projects for customers in power and renewables, mining and water projects
• Run the rule across project design, implementation, commissioning and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, sector standards and industry regulations
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team and customers
• Meet with client-side contacts to understand their ongoing project needs
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are maintained
• Review team activity from a service delivery perspective

 
Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in technical, operational or team lead roles within control systems engineering
• Sector experience in power and renewables, mining or water
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
